We’re looking for a highly skilled, enthusiastic WordPress Developer to join our growing company.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):



  • Taking PSD files and converting them into responsive WordPress websites

  • Building custom, full-featured WordPress themes from scratch

  • Building custom WordPress functionality using actions, filters, ajax, custom queries, custom post types, taxonomies, etc...

  • Configuring WordPress plugins

  • Launching websites

  • Communicating with clients

  • Building and iterating on our premium WordPress products


 


Qualifications:



  • Solid knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, WordPress, responsive design and HTML/CSS/SCSS

  • Ability to setup and work from local environments

  • Expert at hand-coding custom themes based on design mockups

  • Familiar with cPanel/WHM administration

  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and complete tasks in a timely manner

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Patience--aka not grumpy :-)


 


Other important details:


Graphic design skills are not required; however, a keen eye for design and understanding of usability best practices are big pluses.
